Apprentice Admin Assistant

Location: Wygate Park  Academy

Salary: Government apprenticeship rate

Contract: Fixed term for 2 years

The Boston Witham Academies Federation is a Multi Academy Trust based in and around the Boston area. We currently operate a rolling apprenticeship programme which provides work based training for 17-24 year olds. Apprenticeships mix on-the-job training with classroom learning; they provide you with the skills you need for your chosen career that will also lead to nationally recognised qualifications. As an apprentice, you earn while you learn and receive other benefits as well.

We are seeking to appoint an Apprentice Admin Assistant at Wygate Park Primary.

You can apply for an Apprenticeship with us if you are:

  • 17 to 24 years old
  • not in full-time education

The ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, good command of spoken and written English, the ability to work both within a team and independently and a commitment to personal and professional development in order to progress within the setting. They will have a GCSE Grade C in both English and Maths.

Finance Assistant – 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, G3.6 (£17,007 pro rata) –

The Boston Witham Academies Federation is at the heart of the Boston Community. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a finance assistant to join our busy finance office. This role purpose of this role is to assist with the running of the school finances.  Some experience of administering finance, including invoices and orders within a school setting would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

Early Help and Wellbeing Support Worker. –Boston Witham Academies Federation, Lincolnshire, Scale Point G6 15-18 (£22,401-£24,657 FTE)

Full time- 42 hours per week, term time only,

Job to start September 

Boston Witham Academies Federation is at the heart of the Boston Community. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Help and Wellbeing Support Worker. This role requires the successful candidate to act as Lead Professional within Team Around the Child meetings and deliver evidence-based interventions to support children and young people’s individual needs. A minimum of 3 years working with children and young people in a relevant field is required for this role.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Officer whose role will be to maintain a safe working environment across the trust, ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety legislation. This role will require the post holder to undertake regular inspection and risk assessments. The successful candidate will be educated to at least GCSE Grade C standard or equivalent in English and Mathematics with a NEBOSH Certificate and Diploma in BIFM Level 5.
