Health and Safety Officer, Salary Grade G6 18-21, £21,962 – £24,174 per annum.

Full time-37 hours per week

The Boston Witham Academies Federation is at the heart of the Boston Community. The Trust, which prides itself on working in partnership with parents, carers and the community, ensures that the best education is provided for all. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Officer whose role will be to maintain a safe working environment across the trust, ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety legislation. This role will require the post holder to undertake regular inspection and risk assessments. The successful candidate will be educated to at least GCSE Grade C standard or equivalent in English and Mathematics with a NEBOSH Certificate and Diploma in BIFM Level 5.

Apprenticeships – Teaching Assistants

Location: Haven High Academy

Salary: Government apprenticeship rate

Contract: Fixed term for 2 years

The Boston Witham Academies Federation is a Multi Academy Trust based in and around the Boston area. We currently operate a rolling apprenticeship programme which provides work based training for 17-24 year olds. Apprenticeships mix on-the-job training with classroom learning; they provide you with the skills you need for your chosen career that will also lead to nationally recognised qualifications. As an apprentice, you earn while you learn and receive other benefits as well.

We are seeking to appoint a number of apprentice Teaching Assistants, the vacancies are available in the following departments:-

  • English
  • Maths
  • Social Studies
  • Learning Support (One to One)

You can apply for an Apprenticeship with us if you are:

  • 17 to 24 years old
  • not in full-time education

The ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, good command of spoken and written English, the ability to work both within a team and independently and a commitment to personal and professional development in order to progress within the setting. They will have a GCSE Grade C in both English and Maths.

Teacher of English Key Stages 3 & 4-Haven High Academy, Lincolnshire, MPS/UPS

Part time- ( up to 0.6 FTE)

Haven High Academy is situated in the town of Boston in rural Lincolnshire. The Academy is part of the Boston Witham Academies Federation which includes Carlton Road, Staniland, Park, Fishtoft, Gosberton, Pioneers and Wygate Park Academies.

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of English from September 2017.

Do you have the enthusiasm for teaching and learning that motivates students?
