Fishtoft Academy’s New Hall To Improve Facilities For Pupils And CommunityNathan
Work has begun on the construction of a new hall at Fishtoft Academy.
The project is scheduled to be completed by October and will provide new sports facilities for the academy while also enabling parents and carers of pupils at the school to access breakfast and after school clubs.
Headteacher of Fishtoft Academy, Jo Bland, said: “We are delighted that work has started on our much-anticipated build, which will revolutionise the curriculum offer for our pupils.
“Not only will we have our own sports facilities, we will also have a food technology area and wraparound care facility.”
Fishtoft Academy is part of the Voyage Education Partnership, a Multi-Academy Trust based in Boston.
Voyage’s CEO Emma Hadley said: “The Voyage Education Partnership is proud to be investing in Fishtoft Academy and the local Fishtoft community.
“The new academy hall will enhance curriculum opportunities, along with the teaching and learning provision for our pupils. We are really excited to deliver this project, which will be in use in the Autumn Term.
“Fishtoft Academy’s pupils deserve excellent provision and we hope the hall space will also be used by the local community.”
