Midday Supervisory Assistant- Staniland Academy

After-School club Assistant – Park Academy

To start September 2021

We are looking for an After-school club Assistant at Park Academy. This person will be responsible for:

  • Promoting development and learning (physical, emotional, educational, and social). Fostering growth, self-esteem, and independence, observe and record development.
  • Supporting those with special needs.
  • Carrying out reasonable personal care/hygiene duties and administering basic first aid.
  • Assisting with the movement of children in and around the school.
  • Acting in accordance with the school policies and procedures and relevant legislation, particularly in relation to child protection and behaviour management.

After-School club supervisor – Park Academy

We are looking for an After-school club Supervisor at Park Academy. This person will be responsible for:

  • Engaging children in purposeful play and fitness activities.
  • Supervising and interacting with children during clubs, encouraging positive social skills.

Attendance Administration Assistant – Grade G3 6-9 22.5 hours a week, £9,611.19 – £10,200.16 Term time only

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Voyage Education Partnership for an Attendance Administration Assistant at Haven High Academy. The candidate will be required to assist the attendance team in the provision of clerical and administrative duties.

  • Assist the attendance team collating and recording absences on Progresso, monitoring, and updating registers. Monitoring inventory for late arrivals and early leavers. Monitoring WEDUC and responding to absence messages. Assist with contacting parents/carers on first day of absences.
  • Generate letters to inform parents/carers of persistently late pupils.
  • Liaise with EWO regarding truancy and immediate action in relation to absences.
  • Send weekly absence letters for unexplained absences and update records with any responses.
  • Produce attendance certificates on a termly basis for those students with 100% attendance.
  • Produce letters of concern on a termly basis for students with poor attendance.
  • Maintain the case overview daily with interventions undertaken by the attendance team.
  • Maintain student records with interventions in relation to absence.
  • Update weekly persistent absence spreadsheet and liaise with pastoral staff daily regarding pupil absence.
  • Organise meetings and generate letters as directed by EWO to trigger intervention with regards to poor attendance.
  • Accompany EWO during school attendance panels and home visits, as per the Academy policy. Take minutes during these meetings & upload these on the Academy computer system.
  • Under the supervision of the Academy EWO, produce Fixed Penalty Notice and legal warning letters for persistent absence.
  • Liaise with parents who request a leave of absence and issue Fixed Penalty Notice warning letters under the supervision of the Academy EWO. Where necessary refer these cases to Lincolnshire County Council and monitor the progress of these cases. If necessary, under the supervision of the EWO, escalate cases and produce reports for the Single Justice Process.

The successful candidate will hold at least a Grade C [4] or equivalent at GCSE level in Maths and English.

Service Desk and Project Administrator

This position will be based in the Trust offices which are located at Venture House, Wyberton Fen, Enterprise Way, Boston, PE21 7TW.

We are looking to appoint a Service Desk and Project Administrator. The candidate will ensure all customer requirements and requests are swiftly processed whilst meeting the Trust’s standards to bring a satisfactory resolution to all matters raised.  They will also provide project administration support. The main responsibilities of the position are:

  • Delivering a high level of customer service to customers.
  • Receiving and logging incidents into the Trust’s Service Desk, ensuring that all required information is collected from the customer in order to prioritise incidents effectively.
  • Assessing and assigning priorities to tickets and ensuring that all issues are escalated in line with company policy in a timely manner.
  • Undertaking basic troubleshooting exercises with customers.
  • Meeting KPI’s ensuring that customer incidents and requests are resolved within the agreed SLA’s
  • Following predefined Incident & Service Request Management and Change Management processes.
  • Maintenance of Software and Hardware Asset Management.
  • Developing project documentation and tracking progress.
  • Working with customers and suppliers to coordinate procurement tasks in-line with the Trust’s procurement practices.

Each Headteacher has the autonomy to lead and develop their own academy to best meet the needs of their learners but as an organisation and a team we are there to support, inspire and help each other. We require all our headteachers to be collaborative, ambitious and motivated – and we are searching for a Headteacher for Carlton Road Academy who can build and sustain a team-orientated culture of best practice and continual improvement. We are seeking an experienced educational professional with a high degree of personal integrity and excellent interpersonal and communication skills who can be a confident ambassador and will develop partnerships outside the academy, as well as nurture leaders and leadership talent within the school. The Headteacher will have overall responsibility for the highest standards of organisation, management and conduct of the academy, leading collaboratively with the Trust and its academies, staff, children, parents and the wider community to shape and deliver the academy’s vision, ethos and strategic direction.
